Looking Back

It is always fun to see what draws the most views, shares, and comments from articles posted on my website page on Facebook. Sometimes what I think might be of great interest contrasts sharply with what others think. The timing probably has something to do with it. In any case, here is a look back at the top five articles by way of viewership in 2018.

There is much to learn about the City of Bellaire, and an old streetcar line called the “Toonerville Trolley.” Walking along this broad esplanade, you will be able to read historical signs regarding different subjects, view mini-murals, see public art from Open The Door, look at a beautiful old clock and a monument honoring patriots from Bellaire among other things. It is a walk in the park worth taking!

According to Wikipedia, the making of pizza in restaurants is a 37 billion dollar industry. Fast food pizzerias have migrated all across our country into every small town as well as large cities plus many other countries. People like all types of pizza made in many different ways.

At El Canton, the custom pizzas are made to order in a wood-fired oven which originated in Guadalajara, Mexico. After being transported to this location in Katy, Texas, it now produces all types of tasty versions of people pleasing pizzas. Food offerings at El Canton include much more than a pizza. Check it out!
